I’ve been using natural deodorant for a few years now. I love the concept of fewer chemicals, better ingredients, less plastic. And for most days, it works brilliantly. But I’m not going to pretend there haven’t been moments where I’ve quietly wished for something stronger.
Hot days. Job interviews. Packed trains. The gym. There are situations where natural deodorant doesn’t quite cut it and what you actually want is something that stops you sweating in the first place. The problem is, going back to a conventional antiperspirant always felt like giving up on everything I’d switched for. The sustainability, the cleaner ingredients, the refillable packaging.
So when Wild launched a dedicated antiperspirant range alongside their natural deodorants, I paid attention. Could this actually be the middle ground I’d been looking for?

What Makes It Different from Wild’s Natural Range
Wild’s natural deodorant is aluminium-free. It works by stopping body odour rather than blocking sweat, and it does that well. Their new antiperspirant range is a different product entirely; it’s a roll-on formula that contain ingredients that keep you dry in the first place but within a formula that’s 90% natural ingredients.
That distinction matters. This isn’t a natural deodorant with slightly better marketing. It’s a proper antiperspirant that happens to be made with predominantly natural ingredients and plus it’s vegan and cruelty-free.
How It Actually Performs
Really well, if I’m being straightforward. The difference from natural deodorant is noticeable from day one. I applied it before a morning workout and was genuinely surprised by how dry I felt compared to my usual routine. It didn’t eliminate sweat entirely, nothing does, but the reduction was significant.
On standard work days, it lasts comfortably from morning to evening without reapplication. Wild claims 72-hour protection, which I’d say is ambitious but not outrageous. I’ve had mornings after rest days where I’ve still felt reasonably fresh from the previous day’s application.
The roll-on format dries quickly with no visible residue. One of my recurring frustrations with natural deodorant sticks has been white marks on dark clothing but that’s not an issue here.
The Sustainability Bit

This is what makes it genuinely different from just going back to a Mitchum or a supermarket antiperspirant. The refillable case system carries over from Wild’s natural range, a metal reusable case, compostable refill cartridges, and minimal packaging. You’re getting proper antiperspirant protection without generating a new plastic tube every few weeks.
For anyone who switched to natural deodorant primarily for environmental reasons, this removes the compromise. You don’t have to choose between effectiveness and eco-credentials anymore.
Who This Is Actually For
If you’re perfectly happy with natural deodorant 100% of the time, you probably don’t need this. Stick with what works.
But if you’re like me, someone who loves the natural approach but occasionally needs more firepower, this is exactly the product that’s been missing. I now use Wild’s natural deodorant on lighter days and the antiperspirant when I know I’ll need it. Having both options from the same brand, using the same case system, just makes sense.
It’s also a solid entry point for anyone who’s been curious about Wild but hesitant because they didn’t want to give up sweat protection. You can start with the antiperspirant and explore the natural range later if you want to.
My Verdict
Wild’s antiperspirant range fills a gap that I think a lot of people have been waiting for: proper performance, without abandoning the values that made you switch to natural products in the first place. It’s not perfect (I’d love to see it in more physical shops), but for what it is, it delivers.
I’ve stopped keeping a “backup” antiperspirant in my drawer. That’s probably the best endorsement I can give.
